Terms of Use

Effective October 2, 2026

These terms apply to the Chickpea Baby app and website, operated by Niket Biswas ("we", "us"). By using Chickpea Baby, you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

Not medical advice

Chickpea Baby gives general wellness information to help you notice patterns in your baby's day. Predictions, insights, guides and summaries are estimates. They are not medical advice, and the app does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Always follow safe sleep guidance, and contact your pediatrician or emergency services if you're worried about your baby. Never delay getting care because of something the app shows or doesn't show.

Your account and your data

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. That includes trying to access other families' data, overloading or reverse engineering our servers, or using the AI features for anything other than logging your baby's care.

Price and changes

Chickpea Baby is free to download. We may add optional paid features in the future. If we do, we'll show the price before you pay. We may change or stop parts of the service. If we stop the service, we'll give notice in the app and time to export your data.

No warranty and limits on liability

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted or right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Chickpea Baby and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app about important changes.
